Kuwu Carnival, Commemorates Independence Day
Hundreds of students and residents in Kradenan District took part in the Carnival commemorating the 73rd Indonesian Independence Day Saturday (18/08/18) yesterday.
The festive Carnival in the eastern part of Grobogan, there were several people wearing unique costumes ranging from traditional clothing to quirky and weird clothes.
Beginning from the Kuwu field. residents happily walked the Honggokusuman St, road to the east.
Some of them were also there who echoed even the Asian Games whose opening ceremony had held the night (18/08/18) earlier.
Carnival in the Kuwu area yesterday was divided into 2 sessions. For the morning which starts around 08.00 only for school children. While afternoon around 13.00 for the general category.
"Well, I'm really happy to be able to join the carnival this time," said Darmaji, a local resident.
Darmaji has also been doing it since dawn.
Separately, Agustin, a resident of Rejosari Kardenan village who took part in the carnival this time also said the same thing.
"Since the beginning of the morning, we are ready for school, including this morning," Agustin said.
Hope to have a sense of nationalism must be cultivated with one of the carnivals besides giving lessons to the community and also enlivening the 73rd Indonesian Independence Day.
