World Cleanup Day, In Grobogan
World CleanUp Day is commemorated every 15 September every year. Usually community service clean up the environment coloring in the commemoration of the world clean-up day.
Likewise in several regions in Grobogan Regency. In order to succeed in the worldwide clean-up day, Members of the DKR Scout Crossroot Grobogan carried out community work collecting trash on the Kandangan Purwodadi village road Sunday (9/15/2018).
Not only that, scout members who care about natural cleanliness also appear to clear the gutters from tree branches that block the flow of water.
Septa Bagus Sukristianto, one of the members of the Grobogan Cross-Nature Council said that the activity was part of the World Clean Day participation.
"Yes, as a warning for World Cleanup Day, my friends and I are trying to participate, including cleaning up garbage collection like this," Bagus said to KIM (09/16/2018).
Besides that, Bagus explained that the activity did not only clean up the garbage.
"Later there will also be a nameplate, according to the instructions for activities in the morning picking up trash and cleaning the sewers," he added.
It is good to hope that what he and his friends of the Cross-border Ministry of Natural Resources can do is for example other Scout members.
"Hopefully the other Scout friends can do the same with us," Bagus said.
